According to the US Census Bureau, 24 Million children in American live in a father-absent home. Forerunner's vision is to break the cycle of fatherlessness in the Lake Highlands Community of Dallas through Jesus Christ and through the power of relationships. They do this through mentoring, equipping and serving the family. The mission at Forerunner Mentoring Program is to take those young men who are without the aid of a father figure in their life and teach them by example what it looks like to be a responsible man who has the opportunity to reach his full potential.

HELP FOR THE HOMELESS
The condition of homelessness afflicts thousands of people in our midst every day. Whether as a result of mental illness, diminished opportunity, unfortunate life choices, or violence and trauma in their past, these individuals have lost hope, lost faith, and lost sight of their true path. At OurCalling, the friends we meet—under bridges, in shelters, and on the street—find more than the basics they need to get by for another day or another week. They find the friendship, encouragement, and motivation to take their first steps toward a new, more sustainable way of living—one guided by the light of Christ.

Stewards of the Wild has member-led chapters in every major city throughout Texas. With over 1,000 young professionals and outdoor enthusiasts comprising its membership, the organization hosts events to raise awareness of conservation issues facing future generations and supports the Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation.

Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation’s mission is to provide private support to Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to ensure that all Texans, today and in the future, can enjoy the wild things and wild places of Texas. Since 1991, Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation has raised private funds to advance Texas’ proud outdoor traditions and conserve our state’s wildlife, habitat and natural resources. Our vision is for all Texans to have access to the wild things and wild places in our state, both now and for generations to come.

The goal is to make healthcare as accessible as possible! Because of this, Watermark Urgent Care gladly sees any patient for urgent care services that walks in their doors. They do their best to take care of patients’ urgent needs and help them find their next step for long term solutions. Watermark Urgent Care provides treatment for acute care needs: cough, cold, virus, infection, lacerations, rashes, UTI, pregnancy check, minor trauma and injury, and more.
